What’s it like working with Captured Couture?

An experince focused on you

So, you’re Engaged?!

No worries, I'm here to help!

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. It can be a stressful, emotional day with many ups and downs. I want to ensure you have a strong supportive person by your side to help. I want to be that person who can help make your day a little less stressful.

My approach is focused on you! I realize every couple is unique so I strive to provide a more relaxed and personable approach to wedding photography. I will work with you to ensure everything up to the big day is organized & then document everything naturally as it unfolds. And I will ALWAYS be there to help you hold your dress, bustle your gown, fix the little details to ensure you're picture perfect and be your new best friend along the way. Your wedding day goes by quickly; I want you to enjoy everything from the stolen glances during the ceremony, the sweet kisses as you say I do, the fun bridal party shenanigans to the thoughtful words you share during your first dance.

I want you to know I am capturing all the details big and small and the moments between the formalities to ensure you have the time of your life! I want you to be carefree because you know I got this!

A stress free wedding day starts with knowing what to expect

Wedding day timelines

Ensuring you have time to enjoy the little things while making sure all the big moments are carefully taken care of.

Planning a wedding is hard (I know I’ve been there!). Enjoying your wedding shouldn't have to be. As your wedding photographer I want to ensure you have a stress free day that you can enjoy. I also want to be sure that I capture every last moment so you can relive your wedding though amazing images in a stunning wedding album.

I've found one of the most helpful tools for this is a wedding day timeline. It may sound super simple but it helps so much. About a month before the wedding we'll get together to discuss what is most important to you on your wedding day. Whether that be the little candid moments, the large family portraits or the more intimate sunset photos, I want to be sure I am there to capture it all.

Sample Wedding day timeline

Please keep in mind every wedding is unique and each timeline will be unique. Here is a sample timeline to get you thinking about how your day will unfold.

Wondering what your timeline will look like? Reach out and let's chat!

What's your style, how do you approach photographing a wedding and what will it be like with you as our photographer?

I love creating images that will be timeless, romantic and evoke emotion when you view them years after your wedding

My style is a mix of candid, photojournalist coverage, mixed with a bit of modern editorial posing and a pinch of traditional coverage. Using more than one style to approach a wedding allows me to ensure your day captured in the most extensive way possible.

While I wholeheartedly agree your day should be captured in a natural candid manor I also want to ensure you have family photos that your parents will hang on their walls, I want to ensure you have modern images you'll want to hang on your walls and I also want you have images to fill your wedding album that tell the story of how your day unfolds.

I'll be there every step of the way to ensure you have proper guidance in posing, that you're getting the best possible lighting, and that your images will be unique and amazing.

When it comes time to process your images, I take great care in ensuring each image is hand edited before they are presented to you. You'll receive a mix of light and airy colored images and timeless black and white images.

When it's time to order your heirloom wedding album, I'll be there to help you choose the best cover fabric (with many unique choices), I'll help you choose images that tell the story of your day and I'll hand deliver your final product with a lifetime guarantee.
